Well we are back casting again and it took quite a few round to knock the rust off, but muscle memory kicked in and we where soon back in the swing of things. Now for the usual weather report, the forecast for today was light showers, 15 to 20mph winds in a north west direction, we got heavy showers and a west north west breeze. This meant casting uphill as the only field available was the top field and we are highly grateful to have it back. As the day progressed distances started to increase as the body starts to remember what its meant to do, but casting uphill cuts down the distance a bit, a big well done to Lin who made a big jump in hid pb today finishing on 185yards, practice is paying off mate. Must mention Graeme today as he was out with a new toy , the century xc90, and I am sure he will give us his thought on the rod. We rapped up early as the air pressure was climbing and the breeze had become a cross court wind, beside with only 5 casters the rounds where over quickly so we got plenty of casting done. Once again a big thanks to all those who helped with the court and measuring its apricated.
