T900 revisited
« on: July 24, 2018, 08:57:11 am »
Well after foolishly selling my original T900 to a mate I decided that I needed to get another for my collection for use when putting big baits out a long way .

The T900 is a long rod at 14'4" and equal length 2 piece rod , the rod is not a light weight unit and has the necessary strength in its construction to take anything that is thrown at her.
In my initial test with the original rod the distances that I got from her was very impressive but I must stress that she is not a rod for those wanting to do simple OHT casts as this will not get the performance out of her.

Now its been nearly 3 years since I got my first T900 and sadly my back has not gotten any better so as a result my casting style has changed a little to make it easier on me . I am happy to say that the rod still delivers the distance and whilst heavier than some of my other Century's isn't too bad at all  :D . The plan of attack fro the coming Snapper season is to take her to some of the local bayside beaches that people normally don't fish and put baits out wide and see if I can tempt some of the bigger fish that come into feed in the shallower areas at this time of the year.

Here is the lates video from a few weeks ago.

As the season progresses I will try and do some update
